If shopping is inevitable
Despite the fact that the world's economy has slowed down and many people lost their job, it's amazing to see that even more people are shopping in the departmental stores! :P
How can one not be shopping when there are promotions and sales going on now, as means to boost our own local economy. And if you have gift vouchers, cash vouchers or whatever coupons that are still valid, may be you should use them right away before it's too late!
I myself has not been shopping as much as I like for the past year or so. Before the world's economy collapse, my own economy had collapsed, haha! So now I can only rely on cut out coupons and shopping vouchers for my shopping. What a sad case...
If you are also very careful with your spending but still NEED to shop, besides looking around for sales in shopping malls, you can try online stores too.
I came across a online shopping directory called ShopWiki and find it a very helpful site. It does not just point you to different online retailers, but it actually contains useful information and guide to help you make a smart purchase - buying what suits your need most and at the best price.
For example, if you want to buy clothing for your little girl through the internet, there are buying guides on the site teaching how to measure and use the size information to pick the right clothing to fit a body of a 7 year old girl.
Whether you are buying casual clothing, such as a pair of jeans, or selecting sleepwear like pajamas for your daughter, you can find an extensive list of different brands of clothing for young girls in the directory, all listed out in a manner easy to browse and choose from.
The point of me telling all this is that, if you can't stop shopping at all, then better start to shop wisely! :)

Bad times are time to invest?
Looking at today's economic situation, this may be a bad time to start a business. But for those who have some funds in hand, this may be a time to invest in low-price share market and properties.
One may also invest in gold coins, silver coins or rare coins, but of course you have to first seek advice from the professionals, such as the Monex family of companies. The division of Monex companies that is in charge of rare coin investments is Monaco Rare Coin.
If you haven't heard of Monaco Rare Coins, it is a great resource for rare coin investors and collectors. Not only you will find the rarest coins available there, their dealers are equipped with professional knowledge and experience to advice on various coin investment plans that suits any budget, and also help to prevent you from losing your investments in possible market pitfalls.
Because things are so uncertain these days, you really want to invest your money through trusted companies. So, remember always to seek only GOOD professional advice before you start investing.

An update
I realized that I forgot to announce the 'birth' of my new personal blog in this blog. :P
From now (actually a couple of months ago) onwards, I will post recipes, my cooking experiments and other stuffs in my blog called "What's The Time Now?". I will still occasionally write some posts or updates here.
But I have to admit that I have not been posting regularly in that new blog either. :P Nowadays I spend more time on my hobby blog - a beading blog called Beads And Wires. Just hop over to take a look if you are free, okay? :D
