Sometimes when I pass by jewelry shops and look at their display window, I will wonder if I should get one of those dazzling diamond pendants or necklaces.
I'm not a jewelry or accessory person, but it's good to keep a few nice and elegant ones that can be worn to formal occasions, such as weddings and anniversary dinners.
But with their price tags, hubby says I will be better of (or richer in few years' time) if I buy gold instead of diamond. The value of gold will appreciate over time, while the value of normal diamond accessories will probably just stay as it is, or even depreciate.
True, buying gold is what people have been doing for centuries, because it really is one of the best ways to preserve or even increase wealth.
Personally I am not too fascinated by gold accessories. Gold coins or gold bars, yes. Haha! So, I will still very much like hubby to give me a diamond ring as our 10th wedding anniversary gift next year. ;)
